Six courses with different destinations
Ontario Grade 12 mathematics is not one interchangeable course. Choose the exact code on your timetable and check its prerequisite before studying.
University preparation: exponential and logarithmic, trigonometric, polynomial, rational, and composed functions.
Prerequisite: MCR3U or MCT4C.
Open MHF4UUniversity preparation: rates of change, derivatives and applications, and vector geometry.
Prerequisite: MHF4U before or concurrently.
Open MCV4UUniversity preparation: counting, probability distributions, statistical analysis, and an investigation.
Prerequisite: MCR3U or MCF3M.
Open MDM4UCollege preparation: functions, trigonometry, vectors, measurement, and technical applications.
Prerequisite: MCF3M or MCR3U.

The six course pages map all 344 specific expectations in the official document. A mapped expectation is a study target, not a claim that its written lecture has been published. Lesson drafts remain private until they pass calculation, notation, curriculum-level, and readability checks and an administrator approves them. Only approved lessons enter the public sitemap.
Choose by prerequisite, not by course name alone
MHF4U commonly supports programs needing advanced functions. MCV4U adds calculus and vectors and requires MHF4U before or at the same time. MDM4U focuses on probability and statistics. MCT4C and MAP4C support different college destinations, while MEL4E emphasizes work and everyday decisions. Admission requirements vary by program, so check the current college or university requirement as well as your school timetable.
